How do you like your zombie? Would you go for a Necromantic zombie, a Plague zombie, or a Rabbid zombie? (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100929145704AAcErCn)
Or maybe you would prefer a mash up of Functional zombies, Philosophical zombies, Hollywood Zombies, Voodoo zombies and with a sprinkling of Hollywood zombies on top? (http://zombies.monstrous.com/)
Or would you prefer to wrestle with a “lurker” a “crawler” or a “roamer” (http://www.zombiesurvivalwiki.com/page/The+three+types+of+zombies)
More importantly which one do you think would be best to be filmed?

Hi there, I stumbled upon your blog and i'm interested to see the result of your film! I'm also in the process of writing a film. My favourite zombie films are 28 Days and 28 Weeks Later, and the zombies in them are fast/rabid. But did you see The Walking Dead series? The zombies in that are mostly slow but i'm pretty sure I remember some scenes where they almost broke into a run. So...i'm thinking, they are generally slow moving...until they see their prey...
It's hard to say what kind of zombies would be best though, I think the storyline should be developed first and the zombie's designed around the rest of the film.
Pete.
I'd like to see zombies breaking out of the stereotype e.g. slow moving, arms out in front, sunken eyes, skin hanging off etc. Basically, away from this http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3189475072/tt1520211 and having normal looking people so the 'fear factor' comes from not knowing who is a zombie. Or don't show any zombies in your film the fear is built up through the imagination.
